3. Author Rights and Intellectual Property

• Ownership: Authors retain full ownership and copyright of their manuscripts. Spotwrite acts solely as a service provider.
• Promotional Use: By signing up for our services, authors grant Spotwrite the right to use excerpts, covers, and promotional materials related to their book for marketing purposes.
• No Infringement: Authors must ensure their manuscript does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of third parties.

4. Manuscript Submission

• Submitted manuscripts must be original works owned by the author.
• Spotwrite reserves the right to reject manuscripts containing offensive, plagiarized, or illegal content.
• If additional editing or rewriting is required beyond the agreed service, extra charges may apply.

5. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the package cost) is required to initiate services.
• Final payment must be cleared before the book’s official release or distribution.
• Delayed payments may result in project delays or additional charges.

6. Refund Policy

• Payments for services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
• If the project is canceled by the author, the cost for completed work will be deducted, and any remaining balance may be refunded at Spotwrite’s discretion.
• Refunds are not applicable for delivered services such as editing, design, or completed marketing campaigns.

7. Confidentiality

• Spotwrite ensures the confidentiality of your manuscript and personal information.
• We do not share your work or data with third parties without your consent, except as required for the publishing process (e.g., printers, distributors).

8. Dispute Resolution

• Good Faith Negotiations: Both parties agree to resolve disputes amicably through mutual discussions.
• Arbitration: If disputes cannot be resolved, they will be referred to arbitration in accordance with the laws of India.

9. Co-Publishing Agreements

• Authors opting for co-publishing will sign a separate agreement outlining revenue sharing, marketing responsibilities, and intellectual property terms.
• Spotwrite reserves the right to negotiate and manage third-party collaborations for co-published works.

10. Timeline and Delivery

• Spotwrite aims to meet all agreed-upon deadlines. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances or delayed approvals by the author.
• The author is responsible for timely feedback and submission of materials to ensure project progress.

11. Liability

• Spotwrite is not liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising from errors or omissions in the author’s manuscript.
• While we strive for quality and accuracy, the author is ultimately responsible for final content approval.

12. Amendments to Terms

Spotwrite reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
